I will forever be fascinated by what comes through our hands when we sit down with art materials, an open heart and mind.

My work has evolved into a language of symbols that I am just beginning to understand. Some have shown up in my art for awhile while others are new to the scene. An arch is not an arch, but a tunnel – a symbol of a place we may all find ourselves in from time to time. The circle is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Having lived in a variety of places, I have discovered that environment has a direct effect on my work.  I currently call the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina home. A wonderful place to create artwork!

I have been painting for over twenty years and have a bachelors degree in Visual Art from Naropa University.
